My PC

I've built my own custom PC because I wanted it to be powerful, upgradable and yet as quiet as possible. The current basic spec is as follows:

AMD Phenom II X4 quad core CPU (3600MHz) 4GB DDR3 Corsir Dominator 1600MHz low latency RAM ATI Radion HD 5770 1GB graphics card Western Digital RE3 320GB hard drive OCZ ModXtreme modular 500W PSU As well as low speed internal fans the system uses a Zalman RESERATOR1 cooling solution that provides practically silent CPU cooling. I modded the Lian Li tower case to allow for rear inlet and outlet pipes. The reserator comes with an internal submerged pump but I found this to be noisy and weak so I've exchanged it for an external in-line pump which is more powerful. The pump is powered from a PCI relay card that ensures the pump is automatically switched on and off with the PC. I've used a Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H motherboard. This provides onboard audio, an onboard SATAII controller and has a fanless design. The board also has two USB 3.0 ports The system has two optical drives (a DVD ROM drive and a dual-layer DVD RW drive). I'm currently using the following peripherals: Logitch G15 gaming keyboard Logitech MX1000 laser mouse HP Photosmart C4580 printer / scanner
